I live on a farm in the most beautiful corner of the world (pinch me).
Amongst the harsh summer heat waves, the wind across the pastures and the food we take from the earth there is endless inspiration for my ceaseless desire to create. As a ‘maker’ I love taking hold of the beautiful moments, to sit in them and breathe them in. A cold beverage in a stolen breeze on the verandah as the sun goes down, a harvest of greens from the vege patch that goes straight to the dinner table. The way the light casts interesting tones in the sparkling eyes of my boy as he climbs a tree or plays with the dog. An adventure shared together emerging from the swag onto a pristine beach as the sun rises. Wondering which shade of purple I would put on my brush to portray the twilight sky. These are the moments I most like to capture into art, stories and sometimes even picture books for my family, and the world to enjoy time and time again. Lucky for me, I don’t even have to look past my own gate post for most of my inspiration. Come, let me show you around.
